Something different, but familiar

I'm not sure how I feel about blogging in the year 2023. It feels so "official." I feel like I should have a real, important reason for having a blog, or maybe some kind of unifying theme for what I'm going to write about.

I do not have an "important" reason, unless hating Facebook and Instagram counts. Also not much of a theme, although I will probably share a lot of knitting projects and baking. But there will definitely be deviations. Then again, maybe I'll forget about this blog for six months at a time between posts. That has definitely happened before! 

I guess this is a substitute Facebook profile that no one will see? I'm excited to see how this goes. 

A sweater I made for Beatrice, just sewed on the buttons today.
